Each year, CPF awards grants to select students who demonstrate an exceptional interest in pursuing careers in the media business in California.

Each recipient receives a $3,000 stipend and joins a year-long cohort that provides access to mentorship, resources, training and a supportive professional network.

Students must secure an internship on their own at a California news company. Internships can occur in spring, summer or fall but must be full-time and last at least six weeks.
